Organising my TPD and Income Insurance, I thought, was going to be a drawn out, tedious and difficult process, and I was somewhat daunted by the whole thing... But, a colleague suggested I speak with FutureSure and Richard Ayre, and within one meeting, it became apparent that the process was going to be anything but tedious.

Richard streamlined the entire process, walked me through the paperwork, was on hand when I needed questions answered and liaised between myself, the Insurer and my previous provider, eliminating the need for multiple connections and calls and securing me a list of quotes and companies to choose from!

Being in small business I find it difficult to keep up to date with the ever changing rules and regulations in relation to the financial aspects of not only running my business but securing my financial future with superannuation strategies and business performance strategies.

In this regard, several years ago Richard identified that my income stream was not adequately protected in the event that I became ill or had an accident that prevented me from maintaining my existing income levels. Naturally my financial commitments would not be put on hold in the event of a mishap so he suggested I take some income protection to meet the unexpected.

I was well aware of this type of insurance but never seriously contemplated taking out a policy with the attitude “it will never happen to me”.
